How do I place an order?

I’m so excited to start stitching for you! All heirlooms are hand-stitched to order once your order is placed. Please email me your heirloom order form so we can get started!

Okay, I’m ready to place an order! how long will it be before I get my heirloom?

All heirlooms are hand-stitched to order.  My current lead time for standard offerings that do not require personalization is approximately 2 to 3 weeks.  For custom pieces (i.e., birth announcements, swaddles, name hoops), my current lead time is approximately 4 weeks.  Let’s chat about your custom heirloom, and I can give you a clearer ETA.

Please note that lead times DO NOT include shipping times.

How do I customize an heirloom?

Great question! For swaddles, name hoops & birth announcements, please see below. 

For botanicals that you would like customized, please email me your botanical order form and specify your customization request in the additional comments section to let me know what you would like!

What’s your process for swaddles, name hoops, and birth announcements?

Each heirloom is hand-stitched to your specifications. After you email me your order form, I will email you an invoice. Payment is required in full upfront to begin creating your one-of-a-kind piece.  The process for each type of heirloom varies slightly.  Please see below for the specific product you would like to customize.

Swaddle

Please visit the baby page to see an example of a custom swaddle heirloom. Download and complete the swaddle order form to select your swaddle color, thread color, and to provide the following additional details:

• Name to be Embroidered
• Name & Mailing Address (for Shipping)
• Additional Comments

Once you email me your order form, I will email you an invoice. After you submit your payment in full, I will begin stitching.  Please note that my current lead time is approximately 4 weeks.

Name Hoop

Let’s chat about it!  Send me a photo, detailed description, or a seed of an idea.  We can coordinate a time to chat on the phone or continue to exchange emails to get on the same page about what your vision is and how I can stitch it to life. Please note that price will vary depend upon complexity, materials, and time required to create your heirloom.

How do I care for my heirloom?

You’ll care for your heirloom just as you would any other precious item–with love and care. Each heirloom is made to last for many generations as long as it is not tampered with.  Any piece that is finished in a hoop should remain in its hoop.  DO NOT LOOSEN THE HARDWARE AT THE TOP OF THE HOOP!  Keep out of direct sunlight and water.  For the swaddles, machine wash cold on delicate cycle with like colors.  Do not use bleach.  Tumble dry low and remove promptly.  Avoid washing with zippers or velcro as swaddle and stitching could snag.
